Sleeping Cat Bowl

sold out

This absolutely beautiful hand formed ceramic bowl is made by artist Rachel Grant and shows a sweet sleeping ginger cat.

Rachel only ever makes her ceramics in small quantities so they have become collectable.

This is a one-of-a-kind, handbuilt decorative bowl.

Made from terracotta clay it has been through two firings, decorated with slip and underglazes, finished with a clear matte glaze.

‘My ceramics are earthy and rugged. I have tried to capture the same elements in my pottery as I aim for in my paintings - depth, texture and a slight wonkiness to evidence the artist's hand in the process. My hope is that I can make timeless pieces that feel like heirlooms, blending the modern with a sense of age.’

15cm W x 9cm H
